Maria Laura is a young designer whose work engages industrial design, new technologies and user experiences. She creates situations,more than objects, generating relationships between the user, the object - service and their surroundings.

Maria Laura Méndez has participated in several workshops and presentations combining those topics. Examples of her work include the "carrefour des possibles", the digital identities program "Identités actives" from FING, "world-future-digital-city workshop" at cap-digital in collaboration with Waag-Amsterdam/Nodesign-Paris/ ADN-Ensci/Paris and last but not least, the "2.0 cities" (villes 2.0) organized by FING and the digital design studio of Ensci, Les Ateliers in Paris.

Maria Laura recently completed her Masters Degree in Industrial Design at the French National Institute for Advanced Studies in Design of Paris in a topic related with the comprehension of digital identities in the network. She is currently working as freelancer and collaborates with ENSCI D-LAb partnerships in a project related with interfaces and data visualization. >>dowload portfolio
